This page explains what data we collect when you use Eman Shamy's site, what we use it for, and who can see it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, mobile or WhatsApp number, country, date of birth, gender, and the language you chose.
- Requests and payments: the requests you send, the transfer receipts you upload, and the payment details we record (amount, currency, method and transaction number). There is no online payment on the site, and we keep no card details.
- Learning: the lessons you finished, your exam answers, your personality test results and your certificates.
- Sessions: your bookings and your answers to the first-booking form. These answers may include sensitive information about your mental health; only Eman Shamy and the people she allows can read them.
- What you write: lesson questions, reviews, comments, private messages and contact form messages.
- Technical data: your IP address, used on our own server to find your country and show prices in the right currency; it is not sent to anyone for this.
What we use it for
- To open the courses, books and tests you request, and to confirm your sessions.
- To contact you about your requests and sessions, and to send you notifications and reminders.
- To protect the content: videos and books show your name and email as a watermark.
- To improve the site, only if you accept analytics cookies.
News and offers emails
We only email you news, offers or new courses if you agreed to it when signing up or in your account settings, and we record the date you agreed. Each of these emails ends with a link that unsubscribes you in one click without signing in, and you can also turn them off in your account settings. They are sent through an email delivery service, and we do not track who opens them or clicks their links. Emails about your requests, sessions and account, and service messages about something you are subscribed to (such as a new lesson in your course or a change of schedule), reach you either way.
Who can see your data
- Eman Shamy and her team, each seeing only what their work needs, according to their permissions.
- Service providers the site needs to run: hosting, email delivery, and VdoCipher for protected videos (which receives your name and email for the watermark).
- Google Analytics and Meta, only if you accept in the cookie bar.
We never sell your data.
Cookies
Some cookies are needed for the site to work, such as signing in, your language and the light or dark mode. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) only run if you accept, and you can change your mind at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Your account and data
You can edit your details from your account settings. If you delete your account, it is closed and hidden, and the data is kept so that you can restore everything by signing up again with the same email. To have your data deleted for good, write to us from the contact page.

We may update this policy; the date of the last update shows at the top of the page.
